Lesson 3: Your Failure is Your Success!

What if, starting today, the word 'no' didn't stop you anymore?
What if every time you heard the word no, you became stronger, more powerful?
What if the greatest success strategy in the world was not to go for yes, but to go for no?
Well, it is.

Most people operate with the following mental model:
SUCCESS ⇔ YOU ⇔ FAILURE
They see themselves in the middle, with success on one end and failure on the other. They do everything they can to move toward success and away from failure. But, what if you reconfigured that model?
YOU ⇒ FAILURE ⇒ SUCCESS

Failure should be viewed as a "stepping-stone" on the path to success.  Success is the destination. Failure is how you get there. To achieve success in anything that you do, failure is not just a possibility. It's a requirement. If it's true that the more we fail, the more we succeed (and it is), then your goal should be to intentionally increase your failure rate! With this thought in mind, you're succeeding even when you fail. If failure is a vehicle that can take you to success, then courage is the fuel! Courage is a muscle. And, like any muscle, you must develop and strengthen it with lots of exercise. As the saying goes: Use it, or lose it. It's no different with courage.  Each time you dare to fail in order to succeed, the courage muscle gets stronger.

I know this song is talking about love however if you just change love to to somehtng that you want to "succeed" in then this song goes great with what we are talking about. She talks about how she is indestructible and how she isn't going to be affraid to go for what she wants. we all need to have that attitude if we ever want to accomplish anything. The only way you will ever succeed in anything wether it is in a job, sports, love, or life in general you first must fail. Fail a hundred times. Fail a hundred thousand times. Because ultimately your failure is your success!!!!!!!

Lesson 2: The Art of Laughter

You may be familiar with the old saying, "Laughter is the Best Medicine." Well people its true!! There are some random things in here that will make you at least laugh if  not I hope they make you smile!!

What did one burp say to another burp?
Shh I know another way out!!!!

Under certain conditions, our body performs "rhythmic, vocalised, expiratory, and involuntary
actions  Fifteen facial muscles contract and there is electrical stimulation of the zygomatic major muscle in particular. Currents of varying intensity, produce a wide range of facial responses. The respiratory system is upset by the epiglottis half-closing, so that air intake occurs in irregular gasps, rather than calm breaths. Under extreme circumstances, the tear ducts are activated, so that while the mouth is opening and closing and there is a struggle for a sufficient amount of oxygen intake, the face becomes moist and often red. Noises often accompany this odd behaviour ranging from controlled snickers, escaped chortles, and spontaneous giggles, to ridiculous cackles,  and noisy hoots.

I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder.

A sense of humor can come in handy, whether it's for dealing with an illness, the pressures of daily living, stress, coping at work even, humor can dramatically change the quality and outlook of our lives.

We all need humor in our lives. No matter what people say, everyone needs a good laugh. Not only does it eliminate negative emotions, but it is now known that laughter is good for your helath too. The ability to laugh when you have a problem or are in a situation gives us power and a feeling of superiority. A hopeful and positive attitude is encouraged by laughter and humor.

Laughter/Health
  • Laughter appears to reduce levels of certain stress hormones, and growth hormone.
  • Laughter boosts the Immune System.
  • Blood Pressure is lowered, and there is an increase in vascular blood flow, and an increase in oxygenation of the blood which further assists healing.
  • Laughter may lead to hiccuping and coughing, which will clear the respiratory tract by dislodging mucus plugs.
  • Laughter also gives your diaphragm and abdominal, respiratory and facial, leg and back muscles a workout.
  • If held inside, can make biochemical changes, which effect our body. When we laugh, we are basically playing with our pain. Laughter is warm, bonding and contagious. So beware "LAUGHTER IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR ILLNESS!"

"The Grinch: Any calls?
Grinch's Answering Machine:  You have no messages.
The Grinch: Odd. Better check the outgoing.
Grinch's Answering Machine: [Grinch's voice] If you utter so much as one syllable, I'll hunt you down and gut you like a fish. If you'd like to fax me, press the star key.
